    Default Export Newsletter

    Hello
i made a newsletter template with Webdesigner 5.
I'd like to export it but the html should be "selfcontained"
Any help as how to do this would be great...
I need to import the result in my crm, but it does need a self contained format...

    Thanks a lot

    Welcome to TalkGraphics

I am not sure if this is possible because the way Web Designer saves files, which is an index page, and a index_html_files folder that contains images, js and css files.

But let me see if someone has a workaround for this.

    Ok Great!
If there is a tool maybe that could convert into a selfcontained html file it would be great!
    Thanks

I assume you want to create a rich text email (html) correct?
The answer in 'no' - Web Designer or Xtreme cannot do this.

You can export as PDF with Xtreme 5, or print to PDF with Web Designer if you have a PDF printer installed, or export to a local folder, open in IE8 then save as MHT. These can be sent as attachments.

But if you want a rich-text email newsletter (such as the Xara Outsider email) then you really need to use a service for this such as MailChimp.

I use MailChimp and it is a very good service, and if your list is small (up to 500 subscribers) you can use their Forever Free account option. You can import graphics that you have designed in Xara software, and it is easy to use. Unless you are veryfamiliar with the anti spamming laws of every country you would be mailing to I would not recommend that you do this yourself.

A sample of my newsletter created with MailChimp and graphics created in Xtreme Pro 5 can be seen here
