How to import PDF created in XaraXP5 into Corel DrawX3?

Greetings, anyone still have to work with Xara AND Corel?

I have tried all Xara options, all = Corrupt File
The file opens in Photoshop extended 4, and Reader just fine.

Its been a couple of years since I have used Corel x3. I can import to X4 and now X5 as well with Illustrator CS4 with xara xtreme 5 pdf.

I didn't have any problems with corel X5 [trial] either

Sorry my previous post was meant to say 'corel X3 problem' and its too late now to edit it...

the adobe pdf spec seems to get updated on a regular basis, maybe the xara pdf in the current versions is too up to date for corel X3 to handle?

Sadicus have you tried exporting from Xara as CMX 6?

It works well between Xara Xtreme Pro 5 and Corel Draw X4.

Thanks everyone. Soquili, XXP5 .CMX6 to Corel X3 - does work.
This quest started with wanting to import curves into Photoshop CS4e

The PDF (I thought) would be a good way to get curves into: Corel and Xara, baybe photoshop.

I tried a CDx3 Macro script posted on this forum where you could copy in CDx3 and SUPOSEDLY paste curves directly into Photoshop CS2, I tried using CS4 extended I could not get it to paste at all, or only sometimes it would paste the fist shape copied.

I'll be creating a compatability chart, something like this:

Copy shape or curve form CDX3 to XXP5> paste = yes
Copy shape or curve form XXP5 to CDX3> Paste Special = no
