I think this is the finished product. I did a little more work on the 3-D text to blended into the theme. I am happy with the finished product. I'd like to thank Rik for all your input. You had a lot of great suggestions. In addition, I would like to thank Soquili for taking the time to create and post the 3-D rendering.

    Hi Jose.

I enjoyed playing around with Psaumure's artwork so I couldn't resist having a go at yours!

As I was watching a tutorial some time back about interlocking rings, I couldn't help but have a go at interlocking yours!

    Hope you don't mind.

Looking forward to your next tutorial on your web site.

Sunhome there is no need to quote a post that immediately preceeds your own.

It makes your post harder to read because you must wade thorough text that has already been read in the previous post.

I pretty much completed this project and I am happy with the outcome. but there is always room for improvements. The nice thing about Xara is it makes it easy to pick up from where you left off and make it better.

Rik, I would like to do a set of glass rings next. There is an artist on this site that does quite a bit of glass work. His work is outstanding. Hopefully, he has posted a few tutorials on glass and reflections. I am currently looking through the threads for more information in this area.

This thread has a nice ring to it so I thought I'd give it a try. I don't think they came out half bad so I'll throw my 3 rings into the circus.

    Thanks for inspire-ring me,
    Harry

    Hi Harry.

    Brilliant.

The shadows on the rings are perfect.

    Great work.

Great job Harry. I particularly like how you casted your shadows. I also like the light source and direction that you chose. Are you using a 3-D program to create these or a version of Xara xtreme?
