    Default Stereogram

    Hi Xperts.

Got very interested in Streograms a few days ago.

Saw Harry (HayTay) making a depth map for Angelise and that gave me a bit of an understanding. I could see that the different shades from white to black is what gives the Stereogram the depth.

White close up and black way back in the Stereogram.

So, I though I would have a go.

    Here is my first attempt.

HayTay 1.jpg is the depth map.
    Haytay.jpg is the Stereogram.
HayTay 2.jpg is another depth map I just did.

    Thumbs up Re: Stereogram

WOW!!! I AM Impressed!!! And flattered!!! I didn't know you had stereogram potential. Is that the first one you've done? If so, I'm even more impressed. Bang up job, mate.

Thanks for taking the time to start a thread featuring your pinwheel stereogram. You did a fantastic job and you should bask in all of the glory and fame that it generates. I am truly honoured to be the inspiration and subject of someone's work.

Maybe you will inspire someone else who is thinking, or never thought, of attempting a stereogram of their own.

    Two thumbs up,
    Harry

P.S. - This post is a mash-up of several PM's I've had with Rik after he unveiled his marvelous pinwheel stereogram. I tried to string them together and edit them so they sounded like they went together. Thanks again, Rik.

    Thanks for the 'stars' Harry.

Whilst I was at it! I had to have a go at the other tutorial I had saved as a zip file. That was the May 2009 Hybrid Stereogram by Gary Priester.

Good job I had already purchased the Stereographic Suite software!
Without it, you cannot finish the tutorial.

Well, it was certainly hard work. You can tell that because Gary kept telling you to take a break, every now and then.

Anyway, here is the finished result.

    Smile Re: Stereogram

Great results are always achieved by those who follow Gary's Xara Xone tutorial instructions. I'm living proof of that.

You did a great job, Rik, and should be proud of your results. If I remember correctly, the hybrid tutorial was quite a bit more involved than the usual ones. I may be the only other one to ever complete that tutorial judging by the lacking number of posts in the original threads.

Here's the links to the two original hybrid stereogram threads started by Gary:

    Nice, nice, very nice,
    Harry
