Password was not allowed

Just uploaded a new site to space on United Hosting where I have several sites. This is the first Xara6 site on the space. When I go to 'publish site' it tells me that "The password was not allowed" yet when I use the same details in and FTP package I can access the space fine. Have double checked the passwords and no CAPs are selected.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Have you also checked for typos in the FTP host address or username Charles?

Thanks Sledger, Must be my eyesight thats going dim - or my brain. Copied & pasted this time and it works fine.
