Stretching text vertically.

Let's say that I like Arial in size 18 but I would like for the text to be taller. Is there any way in Paint Shop Pro to stretch it vertically? Or another program that I could do this in and save the text ~ Then put it in the graphic that I made in Paint Shop Pro?

I haven't tried it yet to see how much it would distort the text, but just off the top of my head, I would say to creat the text as vector and lengthen it with the vector deformation tool.
