I found the Poser version 1 disk kicking around, and said to myself, "Awwww, why not?"
You can actually do some stuff with it! The attached render was done in PIXAR Showplace, not the Poser rendering engine.

You are going to keep on and make me break down and learn to use my old Poser 3.
One thing I need to play with is the inherent dents on the skulls of Poser one and two figures. I am liking playing with it because it's not menued to death as version 5 is. Mind you, I like version 5, but there's a certain "purity" to modeling that's still there in version one to be had, while version 5 is simply an excellent photorealistic people-making program.
