WD6 Bugs

First of all thank you Xara for all the GREAT improvements in 6

Some things I've noticed:
1. Unlock aspect ratio does not seem to be working all the time.
2. What is the purpose of being able to move the background around?
3. Last files worked on not showing up.

Can you be more specific? Step by step example perhaps?

None - it's not intended to move the page around, just to unlock it in order to round the corners, then relock in place.

Have you checked the Options>>Backup>>Backup open documents on program close and restore on program start?

Works every time for me, in fact it works so well I have disabled it because I don't want the last file I worked on to open up when I start..

Try sample page pick icon or header and try resizing with aspect ratio turned off - height and width change.

3. Last files worked on not showing up.

I mean going to file up top and finding recent files worked on.

Make sure you have closed all instance of WD before re opening to application.

Try sample page pick icon or header and try resizing with aspect ratio turned off - height and width change.

I can't repeat that - works as normal here...

I also get mp not px in the position field a lot - what is this?
Rounding corners with bitmap backgrounds?

Master Position?

You only see this when you unlock the page background.

Yes you can add a photo BG to the page and round the corners before locking again.

They added a open recent area

File>>Open Recent yes, it's new to WD6 - though the same system was used in XX5 and XXPro5

I was using this yesterday and it seemed to work when I was trying to reduce the width of an oblong, then all of a sudden it started reducing the height.
