Thumbs up Re: New tutorial (graphicrecipes.com)

    Hi Jose,
At the end your orange Tutorial, you wrote

In xara Xtreme we use the fractal plasma transparency to create the texture, and the feathering + transparency for the bights; we can create complex illustrations in Xara Xtreme without the need to use bitmaps.
Bellow you can see a Label, I made this label for one of my clients, and all the elements in the label are vectors made with Xara Xtreme, no bitmaps are used in this label, no plug-ins and no other software.
    .

I like this work in XXtreme without using bitmapsfill, and i like what you said about this.
    Jose, again great Tutorial.
    Thanks for sharing it.
    Regards BP

Great tutorial Jose! Thank you ! Here is my take on it. And just to give another perspective on it, bit map transparencies are not all bad. In combination with Xtreme's profile dialogue they can be a very useful tool. I used a bit map transparency in my oranges can you find it?

Yes i can see the texture, Textures are not bad, they are made for use like this.

But if I can make the illustrations without using a texture I make it 100% vectors if time it´s not a problem.

    I really enjoy it.

Correction: Step 30 should be ctrl-shift-a for paste attibutes rather than ctrl-shift-v for paste in place.
