    Just to show that I haven't completely given up on my vector artwork for the 3D stuff this is a drawing I did recently.

    Peaceful was the same feeling I had while looking at it.

    I like it Frances. I don't know about the peaceful part though. The whale for me adds a bit of drama to the scene and takes away the peacefulness. Just me I guess.

    There is plenty of sand in between the vantage point and the whale. Nothing to be excited about...not like it's a land shark.

    Thank you Gary, James and Larry. I thought the orca added a touch of something to the scene, they are quite amazing creatures, and although they are often referred to as killer whales and they are predators, they are actually the largest species of dolphins, not whales. Of course dolphins and whales are related.

    Yep, I'm just across the Strait from you Gray. There's a beach not far from here where at night we can see across to the Island and see the lights of Nanaimo in the distance. (when the weather is clear of course)

    Well done Frances, the Orca adds some drama to the scene, I like it.
