Constrain key on a Mac

I'm running Xara 5.1 under VMFusion on an iMac. The control key no longer constrains a circle or square like the CTRL key did on Windows. Any idea what keys or combination of keys will do this on a Mac keyboard?

Woops, sorry folks, I found the answer to my question, control + option constrains lines, squares and circles.
