    Hello Nicola,

If you are running Windows Vista or Windows 7 you may need to run the installer as an Administrator. By default Vista and Windows 7 limits the access of an Administrator account and you need to use "Run as Administrator" to properly register some portions of an application.

Open Windows Explorer and navigate to your CD/DVD drive with the Serif disc in the drive. Right click on the setup.exe file and select "Run as administor".

This will run the setup program with the necessary permissions.
