internal program error running Xara in VMFusion

Hi

I'm running XaraPro5 on a mac inside VMWare Fusion.

Every time Xara opens I get an error:

"internal program error 2939.k.me.ps"

Anyone know what this relates to? I also cannot open the bitmap editors from the utilities menu; maybe related?

This seems to be a problem with a the webfileupdater_1_1.dll file on your machine not being registered correctly.

this file is in the common files folder, depending on the operating system you are using (more precisely whether or not you are using a 32 or 64 bit OS) will depend on its location.

To register the file correctly you need to open the command prompt (cmd.exe) under the Start button > Accessories.

Then type this into the command prompt:-

for 64 bit operating system:-

regsvr32 "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Xara\Webfileupdater_1_1.dll"

for 32 bit operating system:-

regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Xara\Webfileupdater_1_1.dll"

Then you should be able to open the program, (Hopefully )
