Default Slightly rotated text loses hover colour?

    Hi,

I've been using Xara Web Designer for a while now, and I'll admit that it has its share of idiosyncrasies, most of which I've been able to work around, apart from this one.

I've attached a .png image of the menu I'm trying to create. As you'll see, the menu links are slightly rotated/angled. When this happens, the css hover function stops working altogether.

I've attached a demo .web file to illustrate my point.

Is there a way to have rotated text that still has the css hover work?

    I hope that makes sense.

    Thanks in advance,

    Nathan

Slightly rotated text cannot be rendered by a browser, so Xara exports the text as an image thereby loosing the html anchor colours..
To get the on-hover colour change effect you will have to create a mouseoff image and a mouseover image and change the text colour for the second image.

Wow, faster reply ever! Thanks Sledger.

Ok, so that makes sense, and I guess I'm off to make mouseover images now, but from an SEO perspective, this isn't ideal, but it will still work.

Are there any plans to build an auto mouseover facility for this kind of example?

    Thanks again,

    Nathan

Use Alt Text for the images (Web Properties>>Image [tab]). SE's read that.
