    John,

Just strokes applied to a path. The poppy image was a vector stroke exported to PNG and colored in XXP with EC4000.

A stroke designed in XXP as butterfly body hair. Basically, a linear repeating tile with variable width. The image was colored in XXP and saved to PNG. Then converted to JPG in my Album program that doesn't see PNGs correctly giving more body to the image.

A feather. A simple repeating stroke with variable width. The stroke was done in XXP starting with a simple line. Colored with EC4000.

Rainbow color from an EC environment made into an E3 environment. XXP scroll drawing into E3 and vector strokes made from Xara line shapes. The drawing was unstructured and a bitmap fur stroke used on the paths. Saved out to PNG and colored with EC 4000 in XXP. Fur stroke made in XXP. Final assembly in XXP.
