Default Save/Export Pages as Separate Files?

I am totally unfamiliar with what add-ons or utilities may be available for XXP... so perhaps this is addressed by some of those.

    More multi-page questions:

Let's say I have a XAR document with 10 pages in it. Is there a way (or utility) to export out PNGs of each separate page to a filename based on the page name in the layers dialog? Such as:

    PageA.png
    PageB.png
    PageC.png
    etc.

    Thanks!

Mike you will need to export each page individually to create individual png files.

Why not use PDF as your export and then use Acro to assemble your pages as you want them. The PDF export filter exports your drawing be it bitmap or vector as pages just as you have them assembled in Xara.
    Design is thinking made visual.

    Thanks for the ideas.

Essentially, I need individual numbered bitmaps for my uses. Such as:

    filename_01.tga
    filename_02.tga
    filename_03.tga
    etc.

The PDF export may be able to help in some way (I'll have to look further into that when I have some time) but it would be a roundabout way indeed. When 'Export' already does exactly what I need... but with no automation.

    Thanks again.

Oh and one other question related to this.

When I am exporting the pages by hand, one annoying thing that adds to the production difficulty is that the Export Settings are not remembered from page to page or session to session. So on each and every page as I go to Export, I must manually drill down into the settings and set the Export Area to 'Page' because it's not remembered. Even when I do set it to 'Page' (and the page size is 1280x720 pixels), the resolution dimensions are NOT updated to show a proper 1280x720 pixels... even though the output PNG IS 1280x720 pixels.

Any way to make Export settings remembered?

    Thanks!

    Hi Mike,

Many people have requested the area to save be remembered.

Maybe one day it will be.
