    Default newbie.....jagged PNG image edges

Hello - I followed the tutorial below on youtube for extracting an image an it worked great. i would however like to get rid of the jagged edges that appear when placed on a dark backgound. i applied feathering, but that just distorts my image. any assistance would be appreciated!!

Try applying a small amount of feathering to soften the edges.

The Feathering slider is at the top right area of the Infobar.

If you followed Egg's tutorial there should be no jaggies with a PNG.

Make sure the quality level is set to High or Very High.

Feathering will not distort a sliced object taken from a photo unless you are trying to feather the resulting image after exporting it to PNG.

Let's see your .xar file please.
