¡Brillante! true to life chrome. There is a book by Douglas Adams "The Hitch-Hiker's Guide To The Galaxy" in which the answer to the meaning of life, the universe and everything is revealed and that answer is 42. Your post #42 is the answer to the meaning of chrome! The Holy Grail has been found in Montevideo!
Very well done, Javier. ¿Any chance of showing us how you did this one?
Saludos,
Bob.

Hello Friends,
Thank you very much Neodeist for playing with me in this thread.
Bob, What can I say more than GRACIAS, como siempre tus comentarios son de lo mas amables.
About show you how this was achieved I'm uploading the xar file, the way of get the effect is the same mentioned in this thread, you can see that 2 ways exists, one using Blend tool and another using Contour, in the last examples I used those technics with bitmaps, some of those bitmaps were created by me just using the fill tool of xara and convert it to bitmap, in this case you'll see I used a picture as a bitmap.
Anyway if you have any doubt, I'm here to help.
The idea of this thread is to play together and show our achievement using those technics or another, without using pluggins or live effects.
As I mentioned this is the result of trying to get chrome in an easy way.
Best regards and thank you very much from Montevideo.
Javier
Fellows,
One detail I forgot, select the fill tool, click over the image and move the center, size, etc of the fill tool arrows to see how you can change the effect.
That's all folks.
Javier
Javier, that's magnificently drawn chrome!

Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.
Javier I was trying to figure out on my own how you did that. At the time I didn't notice all the other pages and the solution to the problem. So I guess my question is null and void.
