Here's a mini interactive virtual tour of Crail just South of St.Andrews;
I kept the size down as best I could (Quality 4 out of 12), hence the jpeg artefacts.
Probably easiest to click on it and use arrow keys and +/- keys

It's not going very far! Looks interesting though

John - just a sanity check for me.... once it loads, can you zoom in on it with the + and - buttons and scroll around inside it? It's not a real virtual tour just a 90 degree view that you can zoom in on - I'm starting off small
I'd actually like to try a full 360degree tour at some point!

Could be a problem here, I don't know. Here's what happens. At first, using the buttons nothing, except for a kind of tilt (see below) then I try zooming in with my mouse wheel and it works - vertical and horizontal too - and the buttons start to work. The same in FF3, Chrome and IE8.
TG has been running a bit slow for me in the past couple of days, might be that too.

All works well for me, Graeme, now I can see all the horrendous new builds to the left of the building I admired in my previous post!
Still, it's a great idea, and I suppose it prevents the screen grabs you were trying to avoid. I envy your talent.
Saludos,
Bob.

John, thank you kindly for confirming it works - I really appreciate that.
Good to hear it works for you too Bob. It's not entirely secure as the embedded image isn't encrypted but that may come!
I didn't photograph any of the northern part of Crail which was mostly in keeping with the older part of the town. It does appear that there are some modern designs appearing on the outskirts of the town. At least it appears they are actively trying to maintain the original buildings in character.
