    Default Website width

How do you set up Xara Xtreme 5 to fill all monitors

    Hi Clive,
You are talking about a 'dynamic page width' which is set to percent rather than pixels.
This is not possible with Web Designer or Xtreme and neither is it the modern way.
Remember Clive, the Xara apps are not HTML editors but WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) web designers which convert your design to HTML via a special export filter. Dynamic page design (percent) is not WYSIWYG

I believe I saw something that allows 3 dynamic sizes though somewhere on the site.

    Do you remember that Steve?

    It's in a tweakset.

Yes to allow various (set) size widths, but hardly dynamic and I don't honestly think this is what Clive is wanting or talking about.

I agree, not truely dynamic nor exactly what Clive wants but a kind of mini solution to make the pages more correct depending on resolution of the monitor's video.

Just thought it might be useful. I may use it myself one day just because it gives some flexibility for width of screen.

Perhaps it comes down to what you think your audience wants?
However 'true' dynamic websites are those who's content is loaded on demand from databases (like shopping sites).
Fixed percent vs fixed width is what we're really talking about which, without tweaking and probably some background HTML knowledge, it not possible with Xara Web Designer or Xtreme

    Hi Steve

    Thanks for the enlightenment

The tweakset looks good I’ll get back to it when I can understand all the technical terms

Should be running better this week getting my PC debugged and upgraded
