We have hatched several dozen new threads most of which are reporting bugs.

Instead of posting these willy nilly all over the place (and making it harder for people to get to the other posts) please post your bug reports on this page.

When reporting a bug, please try to reproduce the bug and if you can do this, then list the steps taken to reach this result.

    Thanks

    Gary

Gary this topic should be made sticky up to the top of the forum. It's already getting lost further down the line!

When resizing (or moving) a vector selection, I find that after the mouse button is held down for more than a second or so, an outline of the previous size and position of the selection appears.

    I find this highly distracting.

    Hi Michael,

Please hit the tab key or double click on the little blue icon in the lower screen right of the work area and this will turn off the Solid Object Dragging feature. With this turned off this irritation will be taken care of. Personally for me I like the SOD for applying bitmap and transparencies. It allows you to see the fill being moved, skewed, rotated and resized in REAL TIME but as for the resizing or moving of objects, I'm with you, I find that outline really annoying!! http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif From what I've been able to figure out for those that need to do allot of duplicating of objects and need to align them perfectly this comes in handy. Not for me, I usually just pull down my guide lines and make sure "Snap to Guides" under the Window drop down menu is selected. I do just fine with this way.

Please take a moment to read through the Help files a bit or download the movies and review them, it will give you more knowledge in how to deal with the new implementations introduced into Xara X1. http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

Also tweak program will soon appear
which can tweak behaviour of Solid Dragging.

Look for my posts in nearest future http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Hm...and X1 still cannot import accurately CMYK bitmap...bad...
CMYK Tiff export I think is good... for exact colors I try... I make color tables with CMYK and tints between them, think accurately exported.. Black so...

but when try export to CMYK tiff of some Graphic whit transperencies and fountine fill hm... didn't make good...something like CMY was result, black was down... when Export like 24bit tiff (with print preview on) and convert to 32bit CMYK in Pshop, no problems, the result was briliant.

    some tests:

Xara CMYK export looks bad, preview looks great to me. Export has an almost purple tinge to it.

RAMWolff - thanks for the help, annoying problem now gone :-)
