Sizing in Xara xtreme driving me nuts!

Images look the same in Xtreme as everywhere else except PSPX2 here.

Have you set 'Simulate Print Colors' as your default template by any chance?

I'm not sure how you have acheived this, so it's hard to comment - but in situations like yours, I have never had an issue with colour matching an image that sits over an existing bg image.

Can you post your .xar file and the banner file?

wait, i think i know what caused the lighter shade, when i changed the dpi in Infranview to 96 instead of 72 and saved as a png file, it appears to have lightened the tone slightly.

Not sure why....

Looks like you have exported your result from Xtreme as 256 colour PNG instead of True Color.

it definately seems to be infranview that is saving it with a lighter hue, ill have a play around with the save options in there.
