    Default Color change

Hi, I am a new user of 5.1 and am having a blast learning to use the program!! I have pretty much figured out everything that I need except I would like to change the background color that the web page sits on. It must be easy but I can seem to find out how to do it!! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Bob Wise

Mr. Sledger, Thanks for the speedy reply, but the instructions you gave me change the designed web page background. I want to change the browser color behind the web page so that the margins outside of the web page have a color. This would make it look similar to the window the pages are designed in. By the way my mother is from Sidney so I claim to be half Aussie. Thanks for the help--Mate!!!

Bob - 'drag and drop' the colour to the page background will change the colour of the entire browser background even though it appear to only change th colour of the page in Xtreme.
Please follow the posted directions (which are from the Xtreme Help file) and then 'Preview' your site to see how this will appear.

I lived in Sydney for few years after 1973.
From what I hear, it's no longer as safe and friendly as it was.

Sledger, That is close but not exactly what I was looking for. Your instructions are great--but--what I am trying to acheive is a web page that is white or clear that sits on a solid color background.I have already designed the site it is about 12 pages long. Is it to late ? Your instructions gave me a solid page and background color which shows the white area behind the many jpgs. Thanks Again.

Mr. Sledger Do I need to put a solid white color behind my pages?? Your visual seems to not do the trick on the pages I made. Thanks

It of course, is not life or death. A solid white background would be acceptable. I am having so much fun working with this program. I am a complete graphic novice so any ideas are appreciated. I have attached the file. Thanks for any help possible.

    Bob,

Colour your page background by dragging a colour from the colourline while holding CTRL.

Create a white rectangle shape on your page area the same size as the page.
Name it ‘contentbg’ (for example) and go to Arrange>>Repeat On All Pages.

Click the white rectangle and press Ctrl+B to put to back (Do this for each page.)

    Preview to check.
    Save. (see attached .xar)
