I expect we could arrange for Xtreme Pro 6 to come with a USB cappuccino machine, but that would probably make it incompatible with laptops (unless used with a powered USB hub).

I know some free graphics programs DO support Arabic TTF .. so it is a big shame that Xara dose not support it since the last 15 years That is why I finally decided to give up buying and supporting Xara products.

Maybe there are few Arabic users in this forum, be there are thousands of users not registered in this forum, so Xara should wake up and and star to consider Arabic support >>>>

Is this Persian or Arabic text using a fontset?
If so, the solution should be simple: create a mirrored fontset, create a text frame, mirror the textframe and type ahead using the mirrored fontset.

    Or am I missing something?

They only should support the world's most famous and important languages, and sure Arabic is one of thous languages with over 530 million Arabic speakers world wide. And we are not talking here about translating the user interface, let them keep the GUI in English as is, we just need the support of Arabic TTF texts ... I do not thing it is that difficult!!!

Makes sense. But you'll have to wait for Chinese to be implemented first since there are twice as much Chinese speakers, right?

That's because they use Windows text rendering engine. Xtreme uses it's own proprietary engine for rendering text.

Comparing to Microsoft Windows, Xara products sell in very small numbers. Xara is a small company too. As the result, Microsoft can afford adding support for everything in the world. While we don't. Products that use Windows engine inherit this capability, but they also inherit all its disadvantages and flaws.
