Pdf option in Export> Save as menu is missing

I down loaded Xara Xtreme 5 Pro a a trial, then upgraded 4 to Xtreme Standard. In both I am unable to Export to Pdf - the option is not there in the menu list (dropUP menu?). I am running Vista Enterprise and I have Adobe Acrobat 8.1 installed - any clash possibility?

Advice on fix, patch would be welcomed. pete

I wonder if PDF export is only for the Pro version?

Just checked. The standard version does support PDF, just not PDF/X.

You might try uninstalling then doing a clean reinstall.

Try running Xara as an administrator -- this fixed it for me (I had to submit a ticket to support).

Right-click the application (Xtreme.exe) and select Properties. Click the Compatibility tab and check "Run as Administrator".

Thank you so much. i just went to my start panel and right clicked on it from there. run as admin was there so i clicked it.
now the option to save in pdf is there and it wan't before! i've been trying to two days to figure it out lol
