    Default color depth in tif

What is the difference with 8bit, 24bit tif color export?
Any reason why 16bit is missing in the export panel as well?

8-bit would ostensibly be grayscale but the file is still recognized as RGB.

I usually use 24-bit and then if I need to convert a file to grayscale or CMYK I do it in Photoshop.

yes, i found too that saving 24 bit and CMYK and then looking at them in photoshop, the 24bit coverted to cmyk in photoshop looks better than the cmyk export from xara.
    NO?

Yes, I think CMYK conversion looks better in Photoshop.

Charles used to argue that Xtreme's CMYK was better but I have not heard him make that assertion for some time.
