Oddity with page background

Xara Xtreme 5.1.0.9131 DL

Start with a blank document.
Add a page background colour.
Unlock the Page background layer.
You can now drag the background rectangle off the page.
Add a new page background colour.
The previous page background rectangle is deleted, but its screen area is not redrawn.

No tried that 3 times still the screen area is there always. Can't replicate that at all and I have even used the Object Gallery delete button and also tried it with the delete key on keyboard.

Maybe you have automatic page size selected -I had some strangeness with that until I turned it to custom?

Ctrl-drag blue from the colour bar to the page, done.

Unlock the Page background layer.

Utilities -> Galleries -> Object Gallery, click on the packlock by "Page background" so it goes away, done.

Drag the blue rectangle to right of the page, done. Put the Object Gallery window on top of the blue rectangle.

Add a new page background colour.

Ctrl-Drag purple from the colour bar onto the page.

At this point I have a purple page with the "old" blue background next to it, and the Object gallery window on top of the blue window. Everything looks fine.

The previous page background rectangle is deleted, but its screen area is not redrawn.

Then I drag the Object gallery window, and the redraw bug becomes clear - the blue page isn't really there any more.

I am using A4 portrait at 75% - the default I believe (I'm on a 1920x1200 monitor, if that matters).
