Accordion javascript navigation question...

Does anybody know of an "accordion menu" javascrpit that allows a 1st level folder/menu item to have its own hyperlink if it does not have any submenus? It would act like a hyperlinked button while any other items with submenus would perform the accordion actions like normal. I tried playing with the code for one on the web but no luck. Thanks in advance!
