Default Re: XaReg Requests, Additions & Registry Key Findings

I changed the password and they seem to take that as a new account Just closed my account and opened a new one but it still wont take. Perhaps if I give it 24 hours to permeate their system I'll have some chance Sorry to hear of your troubles Bill - I'm on health benefits cos I can't work so I know how hard it can be ... though I don't have overheads like mortgage/car so not uncomfortable luckily.

XaReg is appreciated Bill, and I have tried to donate in the past as well as this afternoon because I think such work should be rewarded. I'll try tomorrow, as I say ... as I write I'm just getting a mail from them asking how I want to pay!! I think I'll test their customer services department! I could do with a bit of venting

That's OK Phoned them and, after a number of recorded, irrelevant menus, spoke to a real person who told me where the problem was. Deleted old account and added card to new account and ... was told I couldn't use that card and to send a mail to the card problems department! Grrrr! So registered another card and ... got a different message saying there had been a problem and to check my account later on! So there might be something turning up or there may not be ... yet.

Fun this I'll check out things later on/tomorrow when I hear from them and report ... might also be of help to other folk who must have the same problems with PayPal or is it just me and bureaucratrocities?

Thank you, Bill. I'll be donating to the cause the next time I close out of XXP long enough to launch XaReg and find the PayPal button located therein.

This'll sure make it easier for me when installing and reconfiguring the upcoming CD release of XX5/XXP5.

    Greatly appreciated,
    Harry

For those of you wanting to donate do not get put off by my problems above - it does work , my hassles were caused by me and PayPal confusing each other
