    Default Also XTREMELY frustrated

    Hi All,

I have been using XWD and thinking of upgrading to Xtreme Pro.

So I have been developing my website in Xtreme.. Trial version.

I am trying to create multiple gallerys using the 21 image template I found here.

I am getting constant error messages OUT OF MEMORY and Internal program error 707.w.of.rn.

I cant to do a preview as everything bombs out at 32% and I cant export.

I dont think its my machine.. a brand new quad core, 2.33 GHz with 3 gig RAM ... I do rendering with 3d Studio Max and vray!!

I managed to export the .XAR file using webdesigner (cant in Xtreme)

I checked all the files and there is nothing that is over 67K ...! However the XAR file is HUGE... 50,139 KB

    Please help???
    Thanks

While the exported images for your galleries may be efficiently small, the original graphics that are stored in your project (.web) file may not be. I would suggest that you read through the Optimizing Photos and Bitmaps section of the Xara Web Designer help file.

    Hi LindyJo,

you say you're developing your website in Xtreme.
Have you tried if the problems you encounter still exist in Xtreme's latest version (5.1.0.9131) that was launched yesterday?

If you have many images and many pages in your site, you could create separate web/xar projects for every page.

Thanks for your suggestions and assistance.

If I create seperate .xar or .web files for each portfolio for example .. how do I link back to the rest of the site?

I presume I would have to use web properties / link to web address instead of "link to page"?

    Well I learned something here..

    Back to the drawing board..

Yes, that's correct. If you export and upload all the pages to the same directory, you may enter just a page file name in the link field. For example, if you export your "Contacts" page with following name: "contacts.htm", you simply enter this file name in the link field.

How do I link between .web files?
The thread closes with a functional sample.
