Thank you John, I'll try again with lines. I tried making rectangles and blending...didn't look right.

Wizard, love your attention to detail on the outline of the feather. Nicely done.

Oh how I wish I could use paint programs but mine end up looking like fingerpaints that I did as a kid. Your feather style is excellent and free flowing...very pleasing.

That's lovely, Callie. It looks as though it has been drawn by hand.
I've had CorelDraw since Version 9, but to my shame I've never looked to see what Photopaint's capabilities are. Time to put that right, methinks.
    Saludos,
    Bob.

Know what you mean! If you haven't seen it before, ArtRage is a good program to practice with that not only doesn't cost the earth [ $0 - $25 !!] but is fun to use.

Hi John, I just uninstalled ArtRage the other day. I've had a copy of it from way back in the beginning. I didn't really know how to use it so I never did. People who do use it, swear by it.

It's having the time I suppose ... haven't played with it much I admit, but more interested in Xara stuff really (that's my excuse!). Must concentrate on it someday as I think it'll be rewarding

Thank you for the kind words. Fingerpaints and stick figures can be delightful too!

I like this one even better than the first. I think it's the brighter colors. I seem drawn to colors; they make me happy.

I do too, I also like the looseness of the drawing, something I have trouble with.

Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.
