I really think there should be a thread (forum) section for Rants and Raves or similar subjects. Also a similar section for suggestions and improvements.

Moderator please take this into consideration.

It seems that no matter how many special forums we create people want to continue their tirades where ever they please.

That is why you have the power to move them in their appropriate folders.

How about a forum called "I know it's not Illustrator, but I want that feature set with Xtreme's speed, slimline interface, and price..."

That would seem to cater nicely for a number of people...

Behzad that is more work than it is worth.

I do not receive any compensation for moderating Talkgraphics and honestly it is becoming more of a headache these days.

I think the real problem being articulated is that people feel caught between the two programs. Xara was, and still is, marketed as a rival to illustrator. Xara's change of emphasis from illustration to web-design, has kind of "wrong-footed" a lot of users. Perhaps if it was made clear, years ago, that vector illustration tools would take a backseat, then fewer would be upset about feeling left behind by Xtremes developments.

Oops! Sorry...that was dangerously close to another moan, just trying to clarify things a little.

Very good point Mark: the parallel between Xara and Illustrator is brought up by Xara's itself.

I agree with you. Too time consuming.
