    Default Text heights

Just out of curiosity, what is your opinion of what the text height should be on websites? The "template" that I used uses 11pix. I am not sure if that is too small.

    What is your opinion?

    Thank you so much!!

It depends. The important thing is that it's easily readable, and this may be different for different font faces. 11 points is usually adequate, but I prefer something a little bigger. On my family website I use Comic Sans MS at 14 points. Now that I look at it, 12 points would be fine.

that was my initial thought, too. I wanted it to be easily read, but not HUGE. Thank you for your thoughts on the matter.

Please note, guys, pixels and points are NOT the same and will give different results.

    Hi,
I would also add that the size would depend on your audience, example me an old tart that needs glasses.

Hi Charlie, you may not be aware that comic sans has the status of "most hated font" - not without some justification. Just google "I hate comic sans" and see. There is even an I hate comic sans font out there, and a website bancomicsans.com, whose logo looks (from memory) a bit like this. Not that I'm suggesting a revamp of your website, just thought you ought to know.
    Saludos,
    Bob.
