    Hi Angela,

Yes you can. Also reading some of the information on Xara's site the Web Designer templates will be included on the Xtreme 5 CD.

To copy your document templates from Web Designer to Xtreme 5: (I'm using the Pro version of Xtreme 5.1, if you are using the Standard version your folder name may differ from mine). Do the following without Xtreme 5.1 running.

    1. Open Windows Explorer
    2. Go to the folder c:\Program Files\Xara\Xara Web Designer\Templates\ENG
    3. Select your template. To select multiple files use a Control key and click the files you want to copy. Once you have all the files you want selected, right click on one of the filenames. On the popup menu click Copy.
    4. Go to the folder c:\Program Files\Xara\Xara Xtreme Pro 5\Templates\ENG right click in the right side pane of Windows Explorer and select Paste from the popup menu. All your selected templates will paste into the Xtreme 5.1 template folder.

When you start Xtreme 5.1 your templates will be available in the File > New menu.

In older versions of Xtreme there is a 12 (or maybe 13) template limit. The limit has been increased for Xtreme 5.1 but I'm not sure what the upper limit is currently.

    hi,
Wouldn't opening Xtreme Pro 5 designs gallery and selecting Get disc designs, manuevering to your folder for your designs and add the directory, though there work.

    Hi Jim,

I believe Angela is referring to document templates and not web page designs (templates).

If I am incorrect please let me known.
