Nice Frances, the mask certainly makes using Content Aware Scaling easy.
PhotoShops implimentation of CAS is not as easy or as fast by all reports.

Of course, the mask can be used for many other operations, not just CAS..
Time will tell how useful the mask tool becomes in Xtreme 5.
