Default Re: I'm going insane with a simple logo. pls help

wow, thanks very much. This has saved me even more time, I'm so glad I finally got my head around it. Took me a day or 2, but i'm now able to produce more logos and shapes on my own thanks to the people in this forum. If i get stuck again then this is the first place i'm turning to!

I can can actually crack on with what I'm good at now- AV Production.

This is going to go in a DVD which will promote the club.

    Thanks
    Nick

Nick - Congratulations. You have learned more in a few days than most of us learn in a year.

Your technique of centering the R inside the circle was a excellent solution.

Here's an old 3D tutorial, from June 2000, that is based on a breakthrough by Luciano Capello that uses the same technique to create a really unique animation. Mike Sims who moderates the 3D conference has also not only pushed the envelope on 3D but blow the envelope to pieces. Check out this old Guest Tutorial Part 1 and Part 2.

If you have not visited the Xara 3D conference, please do so. You'll be amazed.

    Or do it totally X3D6

chose the animation picker to make variations in the circle
    animation.

(You need ofcourse the right R in your font list)
