Photo tool on bitmaps used in a bitmap fill?

Hi,

can anyone tell me if it's possible to use the photo tool to modify a bitmap fill (not a photo)? I thought that essentially, a photo is just a rectangle with a bitmap fill... but trying to make a Text object, then assigning it a bitmap fill, I can't use the photo tool on it

EDIT: Sorry, it seems like it was because of Live effects applied... without the live effects it works (though in my opinion there's nothing that would technically keep the photo tool from working on an object with live effects, but...

Use the Fill Tool (F5).

You can select one of the end points on the fill path arrow and use the arrow keys on your keyboard to make the fill larger or smaller.
