That takes me back to my youth in the UK, my gran always served tea in cups similar to that. No lemon though, we would get a Digestive or (if lucky) a chocolate BonBon (never seen them here.)
I really like your choice of colours, moody, nostalgic and warm.

I prefer the composition on the first one but both are quite beautiful.
Nice, although I would prefer a tall Scotch or a nice Cabernet (not at the same time however).
And of course you have missed the opportunity to insert a snail here. Maybe just peeking around from behind the cup.
