    Default Naming images

It appears when I export my web that all the images get renamed as 1.jpg etc. Is there any way to keep the names they started with? The reason I ask is I want to use a Java script I have to create a slide show. But, I want to reuse all the photos that are also popups.

    Thanks

I think at present the only method would be to use a placeholder to the named image, but then the built-in Link>>Popup Photo will only show the placeholder, so you would need to create your own popup layer instead.

Is there any update that allows this to be done now? The post is quite old and I thought this maybe a new feature. I would prefer to keep my images the same name as I import them or name them in layers for my own clarity.

The latest version of Web Designer 6 and Designer Pro 6:

Right-click your image and choose 'Names...'
Use the special name: filename="" like this filename="Picture-at-an-exhibition" and press 'Add'
DO NOT add .jpg or .png extension.
