Fair point - it's your forum after all.

It might be a good idea to clarify this on the description of the forum, which says it's to "Discuss Xtreme and Xtreme Pro (and Xara X1) and share ideas."

Perhaps it should say 'discuss the use of ...' instead?

If Xtreme 4 had gone public beta, can you imagine the bloodthirsty outrage on TG that would have ensued after symbols/live clones were taken out after Xara's internal experiment with them? People would have left TG in outrage no doubt and we'd never hear the end of the complaints.

"But I had made lots of designs that used those symbols and now they're all ruined. I'M NEVER USING XARA AGAIN!". etc. etc.

It's almost certain this will never happen. Although saying that, on official release, TG members do act like quasi-open beta testers as they sometimes get it a few days before it goes on sale (just like with WD), and there's usually a patch addressing any serious issues found pretty soon after release. Of course though, this then generates the complaints that it can't be bought yet and people get impatient as we saw.

    Just as a point ......

If you think Xara don't closely monitor these forums (even if they don't always actively participate), why do you think they pay to provide them?

Keith, who are you directing your question to?

Xara gets a lot of free customer support from these forums. It pays them to have Talkgraphics without having to hire a lot of people to staff a call center.

It was actually aimed at a earlier post by Willdean who stated "John is the only person who regularly contributes in here" ... Since I just read it, I didn't realise how big the gap was between the post and my comment ........

That distinction was already entirely implicit--to me, at least.

Hmm I am pretty sure it wil have shuffle import for animation.
Like you can import another animation but the seperate layers get
copied in the layer of the other animations layers. (like my 3D can animation which I had to do manually) or that you can copy to all layers something on one layer will immediately be on all layers (like you can do in webdesigner where
you can make a change happen on all layers at one push of the button)

    Okay, I am just hoping.
be aware, not to become a ware.
