Stuck on 4x6 Help

Once I printed a 4x6 picture from xara to my printer. I went into the printer settings and set the print area to 4x6

now every file that i open shows on a 4x6. even after i change it, i have to save it again so 4x6 does not appear again.

all my saved files are now like this

I went to print setup from xp and set it back to 8.5x11

Xtreme remembers some printer settings and some of these depend on the printer.

I have an envelope template that always defaults back to letter size from #10 envelope size. Charles says it is the printer's fault and not Xtreme's.

And I have the number of envelopes set to 10. If I forget and just want to print out one envelope, I have 3 or 4 before I get the job to abort.

You may be able to set up or reset the default in Control Panel > Printers > (default printer) Preferences or Settings.

Typically it seems to remember it's last settings. The only way to set it back to how you want it, seems to be to actually set the printer up, and print something. If you don't print, it doesn't complete the reset.

don't do a lot of printing from xtreme, but if I need to change something like this I would use the printers own setup from the word go on the general principle [going way back]:

change document page size in program
change printer page size in printer

and then change it back same way
