Gosh, Soquili, I didn't realise the forum had kept all the posts that far back. That was a real trip down memory lane!

I believe that all the posts made after the forums were moved from the i/US system to the infopop system are still available.

Sometimes it takes several searches to find them. Any links posted to threads that reference the infopop system don't work. Although the moderators try to update them when we can.

Good to see you again Graham. One old time member disappears and another reappears.

Graham was Xara Xone Featured Artist way back in 2002!

Good to see you too Gary! It's shocking how the years fly by. It's great to see you are still very active on the boards and still producing XaraXone!

    G'day Graeme - welcome back.

Your calipers and steel rule are impressive, as are the rest - but those two stand out to me.
    Thanks for (re) posting.

I agree with that, most impressive work.

Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.

Thank you Sledger and wizard509! I recall sitting up most of a summer's night doing the callipers

I don't think I have ever posted a Xara file of any of my work at all, so if it is of any help to anyone to study how I created metal effects, here's a sample below with the Xara File attached.
