Looks like I am the only one having trouble with this tutorial. I downloaded the font but cannot install it. After trying many times and re-downloading the font I finally got a message telling me it is not a valid font file. So I guess I cannot take part in this yummy tutorial.

    Larry,

You did unZip the downloaded file to extract the BigSlabHammer.ttf font file before copying it to your Windows > Fonts folder, didn't you?

    Thanks HayTay,
Nothing I do seems to work.
Even tried uninstalling another font and reinstalling, that worked but not the
    BigSlabHammer font.
So then I uninstaled the 5cent font but now I can't get that one to install either.
    Woe is me.
    I'll keep at it though.

Any large blocky font will do. I substituted Berlin Sans FB Demi.

I'm using a font called Aardvark and there's a similar font called ACMEFont and they are both ideal for this concept.

When in doubt run round to DaFonts - they are bound to have a decent block font for the purpose.

Here's my chocolate. Didn't use Roberto's tutorial because of the 3D filter that I use in XXP4. But that creates its own problems. Making two objects in 3D in XXP4 and making them look like they are part of the same object (e.g. a screw and a screw head) at any angle other than side on is a very, very complicated task. I intended to create the chocolate top half and the base in XXP4 and then slide them together to make it look like a complete bar of chocolate, but I found that was bordering on the impossible with the meagre 24 hours I have in a day, so in the end I cut my losses and used good old Xara to draw the base. I spotted another problem/bug/flaw there, but I'll create a new thread for that.

Anyway, here's my bar of chocolate

    Thanks for your help everyone.
I made my computer sit in the corner all night and think about it, and it worked surprisingly enough (Simply restarting didn't).This morning I was able to install the fonts fine.
