    Tried Neoshooter (I'm a sucker for that word FREE) and at first it looked very promising but it has a couple of bugs on my PC:

    • Error - won't copy directly to clipboard even when run as Admin
    • won't let me select an area on my second monitor

    So - that's not the one. Shame, cos it looked good.
    If someone tried to make me dig my own grave I would say No.

    FastStone user for years. Still use the older (last) freeware version.

    I use Screenshot Captor available for free from here It works well for me. The only catch is you have to join their forum
