Default Rusty Metal Text Mini Tutorial

Here is the second in an occasional series of text related mini tutorials.
I deliberately avoided the Extrude Tool in XX4 to make this more inclusive for those with older versions of Xtreme, or even other software.
    Saludos,
    Bob.

I'm having a problem with the mould tool. I create the text (like the red 'create'). I apply the mould and I get invisible mould with just outlines. I right click on a color and get an outline of the word (like the top 'create'). To change the color of the outline I have to LEFT click and I can change it.

Do I need the patch? I was under the impression that I had the latest version.

geeze, I did it again...here's the image

bringing this to the top. Where can I get an answer to this problem? Could it be a memory or graphics problem?

Hi Nancy. I was thinking I had a graphics card problem with a not dissimilar problem involving colour changing of fractal fills with added fractal transparencies here. It might be best if you post your .xar file so we may see if we can pull it to pieces and replicate the problem. It looks like buggy behaviour, but I can't replicate it.

Well, this is very frustratiing....I don't have the other file anymore so I tried to recreate it and it worked just fine. This has happened to me before so I'll make a new thread next time it happens and attach my .xar file.

    Isn't that always the way.
You have probably fixed the bug.
