No bonus CD with XARA X1?

I ordered my XaraX1 from the german reseller.
I had asked on the phone and he says that the versions are identically, only the box is different. Now I got my CD (great) but no bonus CD was with it :-(.
Did anyone know more about it?

Jup, it would appear that everything you need is on a single CD this time. 353 MB on the hard drive seems like enough to me... http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

On Xara X, the second CD was just the movies, which have been redone more efficiently;for example, compare the current bevel movie to the older version, 2974 KB as compared to 6949 KB. The same information is imparted, but at a much lower file size, with the only real trade-off being a bit of audio quality.

The apparently identical fills on this CD are JPG, whereas the prior version were TIF format, explaining the difference in size.

BUT, there are different themes and a LOT less clipart this time around, though I really didn't make use of either of those with X, so it didn't bother me too much, though I WAS looking for that second CD as well... http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

If you mean the disc with the Xara Xone tutorials, I think that only comes in the boxed version.

Is there a way to check on this like a tracking number?? I didn't get a proper reciept (via email) and the one I got on line after the purchase I don't think had a tracking number included on that page!

Yup, I not only got my personal copy over here in Livermore, but a second copy at work in Sunnyvale. Both were CDs only, not the boxed set, so I can't confirm that the bonus CDs will arrive in the box.

BTW, with the rodeo passing through last month, and horse racing at the Alameda fairgrounds in Pleasanton now, maybe we take the Smellmont moniker for a while.

I ordered the box version. The reseller is using a different cover and an amary case.
And yes, I'm looking for the second disk with the tutorials and the PDF manual.
I think I will give him a call tomorrow.
