bug report of chinese language support

hey guys,
I'm a chinese user of Xara Web design
here we got a bug that the web design tool dosen't
support any filename typed in chinese words.
while i open a chinese named image file or save file with a chinese name ,
there all return back error.

and also the Xtreme and Xtreme Pro 4 dosen‘t support chinese words
very well，when I copy some excel table with chinese words
and paste it to XX4’s canvas,the table's original fomat are totally crashed.

hope the XX5.0 can improve the support to chinese words

When you click the OK button does the file open or not?

There was a similar question about .web files a few days ago.

It's kind of odd that Xara Xtreme has always supported file names in Chinese (AFAIK), yet Xara Web Designer doesn't. I have just tested the trial version of XWD and indeed it can't handle Chinese file names. Hopefully this won't linger into XX 5...

Having said that, if more people in China buy Xara products, Xara will certainly work on improving the compatibility. Even as it is, Xara Xtreme v4 is a real bargain for Chinese customers already.

@Soquili, the files can be seen, but can't be loaded from the dialog (can't be drag'n dropped into XWD either), as you can see from the error popup.

Hello everyone,
I am Chinese too, and I bought web designer 6, I work in Paris, but it doesn't support chinese character neither.
I am hopeless for this software, anyone knows a solution to fix it?
