I gave my site a new coat of paint to try and show off what Xara can do. There are a couple of problems I need to fix (few dead links to files and such). No time for a while tho.

It's uber optimised too. No 1 MB PNGs where a 10 KB JPG will do... 900 little graphics files are grouped into a single quick to download file etc. ... I'd like to see the hand coders produce something like this in as short a time (I'm sure it can be done but it'd take much longer I'm guessing). Some pages are very text heavy (over 200 KB), and there is a total of 6 MB of graphics and Flash for the entire site, with the biggest page containing 2 MB of (optimised) graphics. Loads pretty fast for me on first load.

Yes, it seems that different monitors display it differently. The monitor I designed it on shows it quite nicely, but another monitor shows it quite dark as you say...Not sure what to do about it yet.

Good practical site. Just loved the dog house, it is a classic. Patent pending!? We use to muster (round up) sheep in 100 plus hot weather. The dogs had to be very tough.
