    Default Widescreen Frame

How do I create a widescreen photo frame? I have Paint Shop Pro Ultimate X2. I am wanting to use the frame in a slideshow program I have.

    Thank you for your help,

If you create a new image of the required dimensions and go to Image Menu/Picture Frame... you will get a choice of frames you can use. It will automatically size itself to the dimensions of your image. If you find the choice of frames is a bit limited, there are plenty of free ones to download, just google "PSP Picture Frames".

Thanks Bob for replying. I realized it's not a frame I am wanting but a border with a transparent center. Do you know how to create that?

See the attachment, I've copied the text here in case it is difficult to read.

    1. Go to File Menu/New, and tick the Transparent box.
    2. From the Preset Shape tool select Rectangle.
    3. Select Line Width, Line Style and colour.
Draw the rectangle, it will be filled with the colour set by your materials palette.
    4. Now go to Image Menu/ Palette / Set Palette Transparency...
and choose Set the transparency value to the current background colour.
    5. Save as a portable network graphics file.

    Saludos,
    Bob.
