Default Entering foreign language text in Web Designer

    Hi all,
I'm loving Web Designer, but have a problem and would appreciate any help or advice you can give me.

I'm designing a website for a German writer, some of which will include German text, complete with umlauts and accents etc. I can't find anything in WD which allows me to input such symbols, so I'm having to copy and paste from Word.

When I use Dreamweaver, it allows me to input using HTML versions of the symbols, so I know they will display as they should. Will pasted versions work as they should online? And also, is it simply that I'm missing something?

Thanks for all and any advice.

WD works with Unicode text internally, and all non ascii7 characters are exported as Unicode in generated html, so there should be no problem with browsing such pages.
